There are ridiculously small things in life that some people would think me weird for commenting on. I adore the small things. Perhaps they're small to most people, but my mind isn't average. (At least my small enjoyments.) If ONE week could be filled with all of these things t'would be perfection.
Open windows.

Chatting with Jana and Tressia about the brilliance of the Hunger Games.

Knitting and finishing a hat.
Warm skin after a piping hot shower.
Napping on our nest of a couch.
Liking the way my hair looked on a certain day.
Acing a test.
Buying a new graphic t.
Reading a good manga.
Walking through LOWES with Dad.
Cooking with Carrie.
Singing with Carrie.
Listening to Carrie play my favorite piano Ditties.
Wearing my sunglasses all day long.

Going to the mall and laughing at the ridiculousness of shorts cut short enough or jeans cut skinny enough that it practically disables girls from having children.
Buying new Jammie Pants.
Getting new shoes.
Soaking up the sun.
Painting my fingernails.
Drinking earl gray.
Having chicken curry for dinner.
Watching a really good episode of Survivor.
Listening to FOTF Narnia series while working on a project.

Having the house to myself for a few hours.
Watching stupid teenage movies about ridiculous cases of nonrealistic love- but still being swept off my feet.
Dancing crazily to silly silly songs.
Feeling confident.
Not having to see people that annoy me.
Why can't all days be filled with things like this? Because if all days were perfect, we wouldn't know how to savor them. Savor the days where your favorite things happen. Savor the bad days because they make amazing days THAT much better!

this all sounds so lovely! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd, talking to you about Hunger Games with Tressia is the best.
Nice!
